Inspired

I have been inspired tonight. Honored to be asked to speak here at
WPPI, in front of a lot of people, to share my passion and my heart
for the wedding photographer industry. There are 11,000 photographers
at this convention.

This is the most humbling thing that I have been a part of. in my career here. Now, we all came before for a rehearsal to listen to Skip Cohen talk to us, basically the guy who runs WPPI. So as we all were circled around, he shared with us that there is 1 reason alone we were invited to give this presentation. "You guys are shaping the future of the industry, you are on the front edge. You are keeping it up. Each of you have been inspired and are inspiring others."

Wow. It's a very humbling thing to be asked to be here and I feel more responsible to be even better in every area of my business, my life and my character. I agree when DJ, says that "its easy to be the same as others, to copy and to follow, its hard to lead," Its a mind frame to be constantly thinking of new ways to push the edge and to do different stuff.

There are so many good friends here and I have met
so many new ones. This week has inspiring and has changed my life. I've
learned more than I've shared. Thanks to all those this week so I
met, say hi and stay in touch.

Mike we were the ones that were inspired. You were so heartfelt in your comments and opening up to the masses.

I'm so glad I was able to hear you speak (and the others) but you especially, as you gave an amazing presentation.

It was awesome to meet you Mike, my wife has family in Orange County. It would be nice to be able to come in during a workshop your giving. You were totally encouraging to me to make the photography at a level that I can have more time with my wife and family. I also was suprize to not find you charging 1,600+ for your workshop like many. I was also shocked at your humble approach and the fact you stayed 1 1/2 hours longer in your master class that I walked in and did not realize it was a master class until it was over. Whatever you do, please don't sell out to being something different. Be personable and approachable and reasonable. I don't know if I sensed it right but you seem like faith is guiding you.

Anyways I wanted to share my thanks with you because I had a difficult time at WPPI and really felt like everyone was after my few dollars that I had left. You were one of the few people that I did not find that happen. Your workshop is very reasonable and I would hop on it if I was there in a heart beat. Daniel

Hi Mike:
Just need to tell you that your class was what most inspired me at this WPPI convention. You sound so real, and I'm very glad I decided to go to your class. It was very hard to choose, and I don't really know all the names, but I like you since you spoke in the Young Guns event. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us!!!

I know this is a little late, but I just wanted to tell you how much I took away from hearing you speak at Young Guns, and in your master class. Thank you so much for taking the time to share! You've definitely inspired me, and I'm sure so many others and that's just awesome. THANKS!! :-)
