Lake Tahoe Wedding Photography { Alton & Colleen }
Right after we shot Jake & Necia's wedding, we drove all night up to Lake Tahoe to cover Alton & Colleen, Bay Area locals, and Tahoe lovers. We collaborated with the wedding coordinator, Blue Sky Events. They got married at Lakeland Village, which is crazy, because my parents used to own a place up there when I was young and so this felt like my old stomping grounds. Everything seems much smaller now, since its been quite a while since we vacationed there regularly.
The day was perfect, not to hot, great hazy clouds earlier in the day, and as night came, it still was a bit warm like summer. The whole family and friends were so sweet. 2 years ago we shot Eli & Erica's wedding at tahoe and they were here at this wedding!

Dear Mike,
one question: What kind of effect is it when you blurr the upper and lower part of the picture like out of focus and the middle/center keeps sharp? Is this a filter , photoshop or some other kind of trick?

Marco, I am pretty sure Mike is using a tilt/shift lens. They are awesome for architecture but even better for portraits and weddings.
