A few days ago, I spend the day in Paris, France. I’ve always wanted to go there. A few weeks before my good friend Corinne was convincing me to go. But I had to be on Cologne that night! At midnight in London on the phone with my wife, she finally convinced me to go. So right then I booked my ticket. I took the earliest train I could, the 6am high speed train from London, on the Eurostar and was on my way to Cologne later in the day. Paris was probably the city I wanted to visit most of anywhere in Europe. Upon arrival I was excited to get out and explore, but I had NO idea where to start. IF I had enough time, I would have taken a French cooking class, seen more of the sites, and had my wife with me. Then I would have taken her out on a date night. But this time, I spent this Saturday stag. But let’s just say it’s a scouting trip for next time! Here is my journey for the day.

After i had shot the Eiffel tower for a little while i saw this pile of leaves and really wanted to get a shot of a couple walkng through them. I eyed another happy couple who was simultaneously glancing back at me with my camera in my hands. We were both hoping to have the other person help us with our photos. I new exactly what they wanted and offered to snap a portrait of them. After chatting, I learned they were a happy newly engaged American couple from New York. They came out to France to vacation for 10 days. After I took their photo, I offered to take a editorial shot of them. They were fun. We snapped a few photos, however I wish I shot more. I do live this one shot!
