I've been looking forward to this wedding for a while. When I 1st met Nick & Heather, I loved how they were such a sweet couple. They knew what they wanted however, and that was an amazing wedding designed by
Laura Robertson of TOS Events, and to have it captured in an amazing way.
They got ready at the Hampton Inn in Paso Robles, where we shot some casual shots of them prepping and preparing. Id rate the fun factor at about a 10.
This is where it gets cool, while the rest of the girls were getting ready, we got a head start and went out to another one of my favorite wineries
Zenaida Cellars. They have so much variety and sweet places to shoot.
Corinne from
Panacea Flowers created the amazing floral colors and style that elegantly graced the day.
Set in the middle of the vineyard, they met for the 1st time. Then below they took a few grapes and we had some fun. This time of year, they taste really good!
California rustic soil, vineyard, oak trees, flowers, and dresses. The warm breeze and smell of fall made for a relaxing portrait session.
While the rest of their friends mingled in the background, Nick & Heather started to flirt and have fun.
As the ladies headed off to
Meridian Vineyards, we continued to shoot.
I loved shooting with the dads and guys while we waited for the ceremony to begin, they were fun.
Nick's brother, a talented musician played beautifully as the ceremony started.
This is a couple beaming with love, and excitement for their day, I'm not sure if you could have scripted this one better.
I have a 400mm lens that I love wandering away from the ceremony, and looking back with a different perspective
We ventured around the vineyard and I just captured them being themselves.
Nick is taller than Heather, except when Heather stands on wine barrels, which happens not to often, but it did today.
The outdoor reception was beautiful as the sun set. Catering by the amazing
Epic Weddings team! A delight as always
I overheard this cross was from her mom's house, and with the communion cup, on the barrel, overlooking the lake and sunset, only visible from knee view, which is my 3rd favorite position to shoot in.
