Jake & Necia are engaged!!!!

Jake who is one of our amazing associate photographers, has been working with us on our team since 2006(wow 3 years now!).   Here are a few of the images his assistants shot of him last Sunday! I was bummed I was out of town for the proposal but, I'm so proud of the way he has served his new soon to be bride.  He's been so respectful and honorable. Jake is such a man of integrity and passion for what he does in life. Its a blessing to have him as part of our team! His talent and growth in the last 3 years has really been admirable and fun to watch. Nice job Jake, you got her!

i love this one, the smile on your face, never forget this, and treat her every day of your life as if this was only a few minutes ago.

Remember to stand firm in your promises to each other, that a man lays his life down for his wife, and the wife is the "helpmate" for her husband.  These truths are what brings the most fulfillment in life, not money, pride, power, outside beauty, those will all fade just like a flower,  but service to our spouses through humility, trust, integrity.  Jake, I'm proud of you bro...

Zac & Anna + Big Sur = E-session

Zac & Anna were amazing and this sunday could not have been more relaxing. We started shooting at the Big Sur River Inn, they have these sweet chairs in the river, and above on the grass there is a band playing. You can eat or have your favorite beverage as you chill with your feet in the river.

We ended the day at the beach and it was sweet. the 4 hours we shot went by in a flash and It was a super fun time. Thanks guys!

2 day "Step it up Seminar" series

We had a great group of photographers come in from all over the state, and from Nevada as well. Brittany Hanson from BLR life came in and we had a blast.

Rigo & Lina

One of my buddies that i played soccer in Junior & High School with for a short time, reunited years later at Cal Poly in the last few years of College, we roomed together for a couple years and became great friends again. Rigo has always inspired me as a human who puts others first. I learned that there were people in this world we are all inspired by, and Rigo is one of those few people that i felt accountable to treat others the same, it was so great. Kind of like the best kind of peer you can have. So while i am SO bummed i will be booked to shoot his wedding, i was honored to take his e-session images, and later our studio will shoot his wedding on the 22nd. We had limited light and so I shot almost all of these at 1.2 wiith my 85mm, or at 2.8 with my 24-70. We got a lot of great images in 20 minutes.

I think it helped so much that i was familiar with them, we had a blast and then finished dinner at Giuseppe's in San Luis Obisipo, they had my wifes favorite meal, Butternut Squash. Heh, she always gets that, like its going out of style. Here is a shot of us before we left. What a great evening, congrats buddy!
