After visiting this gem of a villa back in 2007, my wife and I fell in love with the estate here during our stay here. The weddings we’ve been invited to document in subsequent years here from couples all over the world have been incredibly authentic, relaxing and peaceful wedding weeks with their family and friends. The property can host a stay of up to 48 guests, making it a retreat for everyone for the entire week. Building began in the late 1600’s and continued to evolve for the next century with a vineyard, olive orchard, greenhouse and housing for all the workers. There is a chapel on site and is a historic landmark on the Tuscan countryside north of Siena. Nestled and hidden from the faster parts of Tuscany, Villa Catignano has been humbly restored with the simplicity of the centuries bygone. Thus leaving you with a feeling of being lost in time, with all the time in the world to relax and be with people you love.
